Most large cryptocurrencies experienced a decline during morning trading on Thursday. The biggest mover was Polygon (MATICUSD), which dropped 1.75% to 55 cents. Other notable decreases include the following:
- Uniswap (UNIUSD) dropped 1.75% to $4.72.
- Ripple (XRPUSD) shed 1.67% to 52 cents.
- Dogecoin (DOGEUSD) fell 1.67% to 6 cents.
- Ethereum (ETHUSD) fell 1.18% to $1,664.47.
- Polkadot (DOTUSD) shed 1.01% to $4.45.
Bitcoin (BTCUSD) and Cardano (ADAUSD) also experienced declines, dropping 0.93% to $26,343.10 and 0.70% to 27 cents, respectively.
On the other hand, Solana (SOLUSD) was the only cryptocurrency that saw an increase, rising 0.09% to $21.60.
In terms of crypto-related companies, Coinbase Global Inc. (COIN) saw a decrease of 1.97% to $76.25, while MicroStrategy Inc. (MSTR) inched down 0.67% to $344.07. Riot Platforms Inc. (RIOT) shares shed 3.10% to $10.78, and shares of Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. (MARA) fell 4.98% to $11.17.
Other notable changes include:
- Overstock.com Inc. (OSTK) dropped 1.24% to $23.92.
- Block Inc. (SQ) inched down 0.05% to $57.19.
- Tesla Inc. (TSLA) shed 1.38% to $233.58.
- PayPal Holdings Inc. (PYPL) rose 0.08% to $61.81.
- Ebang International Holdings Inc. (EBON) shares climbed 0.66% to $8.06.
- NVIDIA Corp. (NVDA) increased 2.76% to $484.15.
- Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) dropped 2.91% to $106.25.
In the fund space, the blockchain-focused Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF (BLOK) shed 1.25% to $21.26. The Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF (BITQ), which focuses on pure-play crypto companies, declined 2.07% to $7.34. The Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), which tracks the Bitcoin market price, dropped 1.70% to $17.88.
