Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. (MARA) is showing a 12.3% increase in pre-market trading, while MicroStrategy Inc. (MSTR) is up by 7.8%.
Notably, Linde PLC (LIN), Coinbase Global Inc. (COIN), and Restaurant Brands International Inc. (QSR) are all experiencing gains of at least 2%. On the other hand, F&G Annuities & Life Inc. (FG) and Universal Display Corp. (OLED) have encountered declines of 9.9% and 5.9% respectively.
Looking at the overall market performance, S&P 500 futures have fallen by 0.70%, and futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average have dropped by 0.53%. The Cboe Volatility Index futures, however, have risen by 0.57%.
In commodities news, Brent crude oil futures have risen by 2.31%, while gold futures have increased by 0.13%. Bitcoin is also experiencing an upswing of 4.32%, reaching $45,484.
Furthermore, the 10-Year Treasury yield has climbed to 3.960%.
During the previous regular trading session, the S&P 500 and Dow saw decreases of 0.28% and 0.05% respectively. Meanwhile, China’s Shanghai Composite Index experienced a decline of 0.43% overnight in Asia.
In Europe, stocks are also falling, with the STOXX Europe 600 Index decreasing by 0.25%, and the FTSE 100 Index dropping by 0.26% since the previous close.
